Project purpose
Jailbreak trading can be difficult when users have to make decisions quickly. DejaVu gives traders a structured scan report before they risk high-value inventory. The project focuses on duplicate-risk evidence, clean source labels and community reporting.
What DejaVu is not
DejaVu is not a guarantee, not an official Roblox product and not a replacement for careful trading. It is a tool that helps reduce uncertainty by checking available evidence.
Current focus
The current focus is keeping the dupe checker stable, improving report quality, supporting Premium and Premium Lite users, and building future tools such as OG Finder and better intelligence dashboards.
Why duplicate-risk checking matters
Jailbreak trading runs on trust between strangers, and high-value items change hands quickly. A single duped vehicle, HyperChrome or rare cosmetic can cost a trader real time and real progress if it turns out to be worthless. DejaVu exists because that risk is usually invisible until it is too late, and a quick scan before a trade is far cheaper than losing an item after the fact.
How the project is run
DejaVu is not a company product. It is maintained by one developer alongside a small testing team and a Discord community that submits reports and feedback. Development happens in the open where possible: new features, limits and pricing changes are explained on this website and inside the Discord server rather than changed silently.
Independence and limitations
DejaVu is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or the Jailbreak development team. Scan results are evidence-based estimates, not official rulings, and they can be incomplete when a target is new, rarely traded or missing from available records. Traders should treat every result as one input among several, alongside screenshots, trade history and normal community verification.
Roadmap
Planned work includes an OG Finder tool for checking account and name history, a moderation and analytics dashboard for the team, and ongoing improvements to how confidence and evidence are presented on scan results. Updates are posted on the changelog as they go live.
